DAY 1 Welcome to your villa in Tuscany
Check in is from 4-7pm.
Relax and enjoy your first day at home in Tuscany. Sandro will greet you with a welcome basket full of all the basic staples along with some special treats.
*If you prefer to dine in town you can grab a taxi or walk into town and find a place on your own, Sandro will be happy to offer recommendations.
DAY 2 Tour Full day Firenze
Pick up At 9am, transfer to Florence where you'll have plenty of free time for shopping and exploring this beautiful city. Around 6.30pm transfer back from Florence to your villa in San Gimignano.
Extra (available on request): Tour guide to meet you on arrival, get you acquainted with Florence and escort your visit to the Uffizi Museum and Accademia Museum (about 4hours) with the guide.
*Museum entrance tickets are not included, and must be paid separately. You can buy tickets online directly from the museum.
DAY 3 Tour Full day Val d’Orcia
9.00am pick up and transfer to Pienza, a beautiful little town where you can explore and enjoy cheese tasting in every corner of the village. Around 12:15pm transfer to Montalcino where you'll taste the famous Brunello wine. Wine tasting and Lunch included. I have a very special stop planned for you at a family run winery at the end of the day when you head off to visit St Atimo Abbey.
DAY 4 Tour Full day Siena & Monteriggioni
Pick up at 2pm, transfer to Monteriggioni for a brief exploration of the town before heading to Siena. Arrival in Siena around 3:45 Transfer back to San Gimignano at 9pm. The Piazza del Campo (main square in Siena) is just beautiful at night, there are many great spots to enjoy a nice dinner in town.
Extra (available on request): Early pick up at 12:30, and Wine tour with Lunch on a farm escorted by Mganga.
DAY 5 Cooking Class or dinner at nearby winery
Today your group will enjoy a fun hands on cooking class near San Gimignano. If you prefer not to cook on your vacation, they arrange a lovely dinner with wine, please let me know your preference.
DAY 6 Full day in Cortona & Montepulciano
Pick up at 9am and transfer to Montepulciano. Arrival at 11am, you'll have 1 hour 30 minutes to discover the town and enjoy a guided wine tasting in a cellar. Around 12:30pm transfer to Cortona (approx 40minutes ride) where you can have lunch and explore this beautiful town before your 4:30pm, transfer back to San Gimignano.

** Extra time in any town can be arranged and paid directly to your driver during your trip. Simply let your driver know your preferences and you can pay him directly for any extra hours.

Villa Option #1
This lovely villa is our best economical option for a walk to town location.
The picturesque medieval town of Lucignano is a 30-45 min walk (4km) from the villa.
The slower pace of a lesser known town is a wonderful way to experience the true spirit of Italy. Strolling into town for cappuccino fresh cornetto, and groceries will have you feeling like a local.

Villa Option #2
This gorgeous villa is our best walk to town location for a more upscale, lively and fun stay.
A 30 minute walk to San Gimignano, one of the most visited towns in Tuscany. This town is full of life and things to do. Wine tasting, art galleries, shops, and delicious restaurants are plentiful.

Villa Option #3
This option is not walking distance to town. However, with the Dolce Vita Package and wonderful owners available to help with any needs that may arise, a car is really not necessary.
This beautiful villa is 15 km from Siena. If you are in need of some nightlife, it's just a short taxi ride away. There are many restaurants, and a couple fun jazz clubs not far from Piazza del Campo, which is a great place to just hang out and people watch.

A non-refundable deposit of $6000 is due at the time of registration to secure the villa for your group.

Reservation/Refund and Cancellation Policy:
A $6000 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Your package, and villa are not reserved until we receive your deposit. The balance is due by February 1, 2017. If you need to cancel anytime between 30 days to 60 days prior to the trip 50% of the payment, less the deposit, will be refunded. We are not able to provide refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the trip. Please note that injury or illness does not disqualify you from the cancellation policy, see Travel insurance recommendations below. We reserve the right to cancel the trip and will not be responsible for travel or other costs incurred by you as a result of any cancellation. In the unlikely event that a trip is cancelled, we will promptly refund any money you have sent us. We reserve the right to change or amend this policy at anytime.
