Imagine walking through the grounds of the Palace
of Versailles dressed in a period costume from the 18th century! You'll feel like you stepped back in time attending this grand costumed ball.
This years theme is Marie Antoinette, befitting since we will be practicing a traditional baroque dance and dining in her Palace.

What to expect at the ball
Our grand entrance to the royal ball begins at 7:00
(The cloakroom and ticket office open at 6:30).
At 7:15 pm we'll enjoy a private visit of the Royal Opera. There will be fun activities, and entertainment throughout the evening.
Unlimited access to the buffet from 7:30 to 11:00pm with table seating. At 11:00pm, we invite you to join us in the Hall of Mirrors for a closing baroque ball. The evening will end with fireworks to admire from the Hall of Mirrors.
Opportunity to partake in the following activities:
Dance : dance class at the Hall of Mirrors. Four dance masters introduce you to the gestures and figures of the contredanse, a dance much appreciated by the Court in the 17th century.
Chapel : concert of sacred music in the setting of the Royal Chapel.
Plus a private tour of the King's private apartments, the ladies' or Madame de Pompadour's apartments:
At midnight we'll return to our hotel and dream of this magical evening.
Our hotel is within a few minutes walk of the Palace.

Reservation/Refund and Cancellation Policy:
A $695 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Your spot is not reserved until we receive your deposit. All remaining balances due in full by March 15, 2019. If you need to cancel anytime between 30 days to 60 days prior to the trip 50% of the payment, less the deposit, will be refunded. We are not able to provide refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the trip. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do your deposit is refunded in full). Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans, a "cancel for any reason" policy is highly recommended.
