Useful information:
The closest airport is Perugia, however Florence (FLR airport) and Rome (FCO airport) are more accessible flights from the US. Be sure to book your flight 1 day earlier than you want to arrive in Italy. Italy is several hours ahead of us so you will be arriving in Italy the day after you depart the US. I advise departing the US on September 7th (arriving on the 8th) to adjust to time change, and ease of meeting up on time Saturday. I can help you book a hotel in your arrival city for a day of exploring in a big city, or a town close to our villa.

You must arrive at the villa between 3:30-4pm on Saturday September 9, 2017. We will be leaving for the Medieval festival at 5pm so if you are not going to arrive before that time please email for arrangements.
I will be happy to help you book hotels for an extended stay if you plan additional travel before/after our week together, for info email Ann Marie.

Airport: Perugia 69 km, Florence 116 km, Rome 223 km
Train station: Camucia - Cortona 10 km
Cortona 13 km
The drive from Florence airport is approximately 1 hour 15 min, and 2 Hours from Rome.
Airport, Bus or Train station transfers can be arranged for an additional cost and peace of mind, please inquire.
*For those who wish to experience a taste of traveling like a local (and save a few euros) I recommend taking the bus or train to Camucia-Cortona train station.
A non-refundable deposit of $695 is due at the time of registration to secure your space.
Payments made via PayPal, VISA or MASTER CARD will incur a 3% processing fee
Preferred method of payment are bank transfer, or check.
(PayPal shows balance payment to include shared transfer from Rome and 3% processing fee)
All balances are due by June 15th 2017

Reservation/Refund and Cancellation Policy:
A $695 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Your space is not reserved until we receive your deposit. The balance is due by June 15th, 2017. If you need to cancel anytime between 30 days to 60 days prior to the first day of the trip 50% of the payment, less the deposit, will be refunded. We are not able to provide refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the first day of the trip. Please note that injury or illness does not disqualify you from the cancellation policy, see Travel insurance recommendations below. We reserve the right to cancel the trip and will not be responsible for travel or other costs incurred by you as a result of any cancellation. In the unlikely event that a trip is cancelled, we will promptly refund any money you have sent us. We reserve the right to change or amend this policy at anytime.
